Description
This position is Sunday-Thursday
Primary Responsibilities / Duties
Package finished product into boxes, pails, drums and totes.
Palletize finished products on a pallet as per vendor requirement.
Use box erector machine for taping boxes and pallet machine to wrap pallets.
Operate forklift or pallet jack, to move pallets to shipping area.
Assist line lead in transfer of finished goods from batch tanks to filling machine.
Identify and move packaging items from storage area to filling area.
Perform basic quality functions on the line such as weights, torque measurements and packaging item inspections.
Assist line lead and other operators during the startup/shutdown of product filling operations.
Operate auxiliary filling equipment such as pumps, video-jet machine, tape machine, torque tool and label gun.
Assist with minor maintenance on lines as needed.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform daily forklift inspections prior to operation.
Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), processing and quality enhancements.
Provide recommendations for Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality (EHSSQ) improvements.
Do not disclose Advance Research Chemicals, Inc. (ARC) confidential or proprietary information.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
Requirements
Qualifications
Must pass pre-employment screen, including drug screen, and background check.
Must have a valid driver license and be able to drive a forklift.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Must be willing to work first and second shift, and overtime as required.
Must be able to work in fast-paced work environment.
Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
Physical Requirements
Position has a lifting requirement of up to 50 lbs. from the knees and waist. Must have adequate eye sight in order to inspect and describe reactions. The ability to wear a respirator while performing certain job functions is essential. Ascend and descend ladders and navigate mezzanines safely.
Quality and Product Stewardship Responsibilities
Be able to identify quality requirements from batch sheets.
Be able to conduct quality checks on the line as per customer and ARC requirements.
Be able to record weights, torques and any non-conformity on packaging checklist.
Notify line lead and/or supervisor about any non-conformities or process irregularities.
Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
Attends and completes all training required to meet regulatory compliance in areas of responsibility.
Complies with ARC EHSSQ policies.
Responsible for reports concerning EHSSQ requirements.
Is fully trained on the site Emergency Action Plan (EAP).
Fully trained on DHS requirements.

Ability to complete tasks while wearing safety equipment including respirators, safety shoes, goggles, gloves and full encapsulating protective suit.
