Safety Director
Responsible for reducing motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries within an operating region through the development and implementation of local plans and programs, thereby reducing losses and associated costs. The Safety Director will develop the safety and training to continuously improve safety and training processes, to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations, and to assist with the development and implementation of vehicle accident and work-related injury loss reduction plans and programs with measurable goals.
• BA/BS in relevant field.
• Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to safety compliance.
• Minimum of 5 years comprehensive safety or loss control with transportation or vehicle fleet experience.
