Closures Mechanism DRE with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Irvine, CA. You will be responsible for projects supporting the Body Closures team.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field & 2 years of [or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field & 5 years of progressively responsible] experience as a mechanical design engineer in the automotive industry.

Experience must include: Applying knowledge of automotive design & development process, closures mechanisms, system requirements, & general engineering practices; utilizing 3D CAD design including CATIA V5 and/or V6; working with DFM DFA, GD&T; & handling bench-marking, BOM management, simulation analysis, prototyping builds, validation testing, & production support. Domestic Travel required 10% of the time. Telecommuting permitted.
