Facilities Assistant Director (Anza, CA), Responsible for assisting Director on day-to-day admin. mgmt. of campus facilities & mgmt of dept. budgets; Implementation of facility policies & procedures & for interpreting admin. policy for users of the facilities; Maintain thorough knowl. of state & university policies & regs. as they relate to facilities mgmt., student activities, labor, purchasing, & contract negots; Hire & train F/T facilities & operations staffs as well as interns, practicum students, & student staffs; Assist in planning, organizing, & scheduling work of various craft workers. Supervise 1 staff member, the Maintenance Tech. on campus; Oversee proper operations & improvements of water treatment & distribution facilities, ensure proper sampling & compliance w/ county for water quality reqmnts, oversee reltd finances to water treatment, Serve backup water treatment & distribution operator; Assist w/ administering state req'd facility inspections (monthly, quarterly, & yearly); for select events, serve in the role of event coord. & assemble members from various campus depts. to assist in event coord; Assist w/ implementing work performance evaluation, counseling of the facility dept. employees & sub-contrac-ted workers; Assist in the prep of the annual operating budgets & estimated expenditures; Coord. building usage needs & special event set-ups for internal school groups & community groups, Assign custodial &/or maintenance staff, as needed; & maintain records & prep daily reports reltd to operations, document projects & image records, prep reports for propane usage logs, material safety data sheets, fire safety, property insurance compliance, Health Dept. compliance, & building maintenance activities. The position reqs: Mstr's Deg in Biz Admin or reltd. Grad level course work in Operation Mgmt, Finance, Biz as Missions, Church Admin, Applied Biz Research, & Marketing Mgmt is req'd. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bach's Deg in Biz Admin or reltd & 5 yrs of progressive Post-Baccalaureate exp in the job offered or reltd occupation. Exp &/or educ must incl: operation mgmt, finance, bus as missions, church admin, applied bus research, & mkting mgmt. Any suitable combo of educ, training, or exp is acceptable.
