Senior Associate Financial Analyst for HCAP Partners, LLC in La Jolla, CA. Conduct financial analysis for impact investor providing mezzanine debt and private equity for underserved, lower middle market companies. Assist in monitoring SBIC (Small Business Investment Company) fund investments, deal structuring, covenant compliance, and reporting on performance of portfolio investments. Perform due diligence for investment opportunities and review, evaluate, and track potential investments. Provide in-depth industry research and analysis for investments including financial modeling. Perform detailed valuation analyses for quarterly valuations. Participate in the preparation of financial reports for quarterly and annual investor reports. Assist in identifying, monitoring, reporting, and assessing progress in portfolio company employee job quality improvement for existing investments. Prepare investment memorandums for the investment committee. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 24 months of experience. The 24 months of required experience must involve working with SBIC (Small Business Investment Company) fund investments and providing mezzanine debt financing to privately held companies in the lower middle market.
