Customer Care Specialist
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will provide outstanding service to Herald-Tribune (HT) and alternate/3rd party customers. Maintain accurate and current subscriber, carrier, district and route information via our computer system/data base; Provide prompt and accurate communication of customer needs to District Managers and/or the appropriate manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process high volume of time crucial information into computer system/data base requiring excellent data entry speed and accuracy
- Process subscriber services including but not limited to starts, stops, complaints and other general information for HT and alternate publications
- Communicate complaint messages to District Managers via any designated means
- Update and print various reports for District Managers and/or other managers using computer system/data base for HT and alternate publications
- Interact frequently with customers, District Managers and others via telephone system, cell phone, in-person, email etc.
- Customer service point of contact for HT e-edition issues
- Handle day end processing of carrier and/or subscriber information for multiple publications
- Produce and distribute various daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Enroll new EZ Pay subscribers and handle other sales functions as directed
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
