Lenox Public Schools is looking for:

High School History Teacher

Full-time teaching duties will include four sections of 9th grade world history and an elective, which will be determined upon hiring.

Successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence for all students with the ability to differentiate instruction. Also sought are the abilities to use technology in the classroom, communicate effectively with parents, students and colleagues, and integrate reading and writing instruction into the content area.

Qualifications include a strong background in history and Structured English Immersion endorsement.

  • A Master's in History is preferred, Bachelor of Arts is required.
  • Experience teaching world history (500-1500 Continuing Education) also preferred.

Second Grade Classroom Teacher

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Massachusetts Frameworks, and will be familiar with differentiated instruction, tiered intervention and inclusive practices.

An ability to collaborate with colleagues and an enthusiastic approach to teaching all children is essential.

  • Current Massachusetts Educator License with Structured English Immersion Endorsement is required.
  • A Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education is required, a Master's is preferred. 

Speech and Language Pathologist

This part-time Speech and Language Pathologist position works with students from kindergarten to grade 5 at Morris Elementary School. The Speech and Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Encompasses both small group and individual work with students with varying levels of ability.

The ability to work collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teams and to develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans is essential.

  • Must be a licensed Speech Pathologist, Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • A Master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Coaches: Baseball and Boys Tennis -Beginning Spring 2018

Coaching experience at the high school level preferred.

General knowledge of baseball or tennis required, respectively.
