M. A. Mortenson Company is seeking a full-time Quality Manager at our offices in Eagle Mountain, UT. The Quality Manager leads, manages, documents, monitors, and analyzes the quality system on medium to large construction projects, ensuring necessary preventative and corrective actions are taken. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and 3 years related experience in the commercial construction industry.
Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) leading the planning, development, and implementation of the Quality Management Plan and system for all work divisions from notice through final customer acceptance; (2) establishing and leading quality control initiatives, activities, and corrective actions; (3) managing subcontracts in excess of $75 million and suppliers for construction projects, including visiting suppliers to review quality program for vital project components; (4) interpreting structural, mechanical, architectural, and civil drawings for construction projects and correlating all discipline drawings together to ensure proper coordination; and (5) working with BIM 360 software application. Must have worked on at least one construction project valued at more than $500 million, with responsibility for leading, managing, documenting, monitoring, and analyzing the quality system. Must have worked on at least one construction project managing a quality team of at least five subordinates. All experience may have been gained concurrently.
