Core Values: Accountability; Data-Driven Decision-Making; Diversity & Inclusion; Empowerment; Excellence; Growth; Honesty, Integrity, & Transparency; Innovation; Respect Culture: The Moore Norman Way staying above the line Job Objective: The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily operations of the transportation department, including district motor pool, to assure safe and efficient student transportation, vehicle maintenance, vehicle acquisition, routing, scheduling, and fiscal responsibilities in support of the school district's instructional and activity programs for students Oversees a staff of 6 or more full-time employees and ensures operation is running effectively. An incumbent in this position will utilize discretion and independent judgment due to the complexity of the job. Since there may be several ways to solve a problem, an incumbent is free to choose the solution following established policies and procedures or precedents. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma Credentials: Current Oklahoma Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements or ability to obtain this credential within one year of employment Special Knowledge, Skill or Ability: Supervisory and organizational skills Read and interpret written and printed materials Good written and oral communication skills Exemplary personal conduct and integrity Ability to work well with others and foster a healthy and positive environment Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance Experience: Four years' experience in a school environment working with and around transportation.
