JOB DESCRIPTION: The OTC of Burlington County seeks a full time level three fleet maintenance mechanic supporting the OTC Recycling Program/Materials Collection. Responsible for the servicing of Company’s fleet of vehicles including compactors, automated arm trucks, heavy and light trucks, pay loaders, bobcats, etc. Must have CDL B minimum and be able to maintain throughout employment or able to obtain within 90 days.
CRITICAL SKILLS: An in-depth knowledge and experience of diesel and hydraulic automotive, heavy truck principles and theories, record keeping, repair procedures and training methods used in servicing fleets of vehicles used by the recyclable collection and processing industry. Strong hydraulic/mechanical/electrical skills and an ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment is essential. Must be able to withstand physical pressures of standing, walking, performing tasks that require manual and visual dexterity involved with heavy equipment service and repair. Ability to lift 50 pounds infrequently. Valid NJ driver’s license/clean driving record and background check required.
Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, previous experience working w/ disabled individuals, be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record. Background checks and drug testing are required.
