The following position is available with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.

Accreditation Division
Develop and disseminate information that advances the career and technology education system's ability to make effective decisions, establish strategic direction, while supporting the major processes of human resources, system quality, research and innovation, information management, technology support services, and strategic planning.
Requires Bachelor's degree in education or related field and four years' related experience. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and diplomacy and excellent abilities in project and priority management. Requires knowledge of the Oklahoma Technology Centers system and school law, ability to maintain confidentiality and knowledge of applicable state and federal legislation.
Travel to schools across the state. Position based in Stillwater, OK.
Duties/Essential Functions:
" Assist in coordinating on-site reviews of programs and instructional support services at technology centers and CareerTech Skills Centers as well as at comprehensive schools when applicable.
" Support maintaining alignment with U.S. Department of Education's guidelines and regulations in relation to state approval agency criteria in the Higher Education Act.
" Assist in the reviewing improvement plans for any accreditation standards and coordinate communication necessary to achieve consensus between the local school administration and accrediting agency staff.
" Support coordinating the review and revision of quality standards and guidelines as needed because of changing technology, regulations, guidelines and/or policies and procedures.
" Assist in providing professional development and technical assistance to CareerTech staff and others in regard to the accreditation process, examiner training, onsite evaluations, and financial aid guidelines.
" Assist in compiling the evaluation reports and disseminate them to appropriate educational institution administration.
" Assist in approving technology center programs through CareerTech Information Management System.
" Assist in preparing accreditation letters and lists of approved career majors for technology centers' participation in federal financial assistance programs.
" Assist in conducting distance education and competency-based education/direct assessment program evaluations with field.
" Support advisement of Title IV concerns and issues and foster awareness of eligibility issues and associated risks.
Salary/Benefits: $51,985.95 - $58,421.34 commensurate with education or experience. Total salary and benefits package valued at $64,192.17 - $71,111.95.
