Transportation Secretary/Dispatcher (Part-time)
Major Position Duties:
1. Answers department telephones and directs caller to individuals.
2. Provides afterschool assistance to bus drivers using 2-way radio.
3. Assists in compiling data for State and local transportation reports.
4. Compile bus mileage logs for each bus for each pay period.
5. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Knowledge of bus routes and transportation procedures.
3. Demonstrated computer skills using various software applications including Microsoft Excel.
4. Must be able to operate a two-way radio for proper transmission.
5. Must attend workshops related to job field.
6. Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively, good personal appearance and a cooperative attitude required
7. Valid Driver’s licenses preferred
8. Willingness to assist where needed and the ability to establish good working relationships is essential
