East Region Augusta, GA Reeves Construction Company, a leader in heavy highway construction is seeking qualified, highly-motivated, safety-minded individuals for the following positions: All require a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in Heavy Highway-related work:
Heavy Grading & Paving Equipment Operators.
Concrete Finisher CDL Truck Drivers (Tanker & Haz Mat preferred)
All open positions require that employees have either a high school diploma or GED, or one to three months' related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education & experience; must have ability to climb up into and down from equipment; have excellent dexterity to handle equipment controls; must be able to work in weather extremes and in loud, dusty environments; vision must be 20/40, either naturally or with corrective lenses; hearing must be excellent or corrected by audio device; must be able to differentiate colors due to specific markings of hazards on jobsites; must be able to read and follow instructions; must be able to sit and stand for long durations. Foreman & Superintendent positions require high level of literacy, ability to work with Microsoft Office & other software & ability to read and write reports; also requires excellent communication skills & commitment to a "safety first" culture.
General Applicant Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must complete Reeves Construction's Employment Application Form, located on company website at www.reevescc.com. If applying for CDL Driver position, must also complete the CDL Driver Application & supporting forms on the company website. Must provide own transportation to work. Must possess a current, valid driver's license. Must have clean driving record. All positions may require some travel & overnight work. Pay commensurate with skill & experience will be discussed only at interview. Work is mostly local area, must be flexible on shifts & weekends, some possible out-of-town at times.
