The Opportunity: Skagit Valley College (SVC) is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure track faculty position in Automotive Technology. Some of what you’ll do includes providing classroom and hands-on instruction in all Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) areas of automotive technology with a special emphasis on basic and advanced electrical, brake systems, suspension and alignment systems, and automatic/ manual transmissions. You will get to utilize energetic and innovative strategies to maintain and improve the automotive program, assist in the development and assessment of program and college outcomes, develop industry relationships, and prepare students for ASE certification using principles of Universal Design.

What we offer: Initial placement is generally $54,015 per year for a standard 172-day contract, depending on education level and experience.
